Massimo Vignelli (Milano, 10 gennaio 1931 – New York, 27 maggio 2014) è stato un designer italiano. Nel corso della sua lunghissima carriera, si è occupato di svariati rami del design: la sua produzione spazia dal graphic design, fino alla progettazione di esibizioni, una linea di vestiti e diverse sedute per marchi importanti come Knoll, Acerbis International, Heller e Poltronova.
Vignelli ha curato l’immagine di svariate fra le più importanti aziende al mondo, fra le quali figurano American Airlines, Benetton, Ford, Knoll, Ducati. A partire dagli anni sessanta, inoltre, è stato uno dei principali artefici del rinnovamento della grafica internazionale, principalmente attraverso la diffusione della metodologia modernista con Unimark International fondata nel 1965 insieme a Ralph Eckerstrom, Bob Noorda, James Fogelman, Wally Gutches e Larry Klein. Assieme a Paul Rand, Saul Bass, Milton Glaser ed Herb Lubalin è riconosciuto come uno dei più grandi maestri del graphic design della sua generazione.

Massimo Vignelli (Milan, January 10, 1931 - New York, May 27, 2014) was an Italian designer. During his long career, he was involved in several branches of design: its production ranges from graphic design, through to the design of exhibitions, a clothes line and several sessions to major brands such as Knoll, Acerbis International, Heller and Poltronova.
Vignelli oversaw the image of several of the most important companies in the world, among which include American Airlines, Benetton, Ford, Knoll, Ducati. Since the sixties, also it was one of the main architects of the renewal of the international graphic, mainly through the dissemination of modernist methodology by Unimark International was founded in 1965 with Ralph Eckerstrom, Bob Noorda, James Fogelman, Wally Gutches and Larry Klein. With Paul Rand, Saul Bass, Milton Glaser and Herb Lubalin is recognized as one of the greatest masters of the graphic design of his generation.
